Tommy was born in West Palm Beach Florida in July of 1969. His family moved to Alabama in 1970 and he has lived in Autauga County ever since. He graduated from Prattville High School in 1987. He married his high school sweetheart and they have been married for 26 years. Tommy and LeAnn have raised four wonderful children. Victoria is an educator living in Sumter County, Morgan is an educator in Elmore County, Coleman is a Sophomore in college, and Emilee is a Junior in high school.
Tommy became a Christian at the age of twelve and he is proud to be called a follower of Christ. He will continue to seek favor in God’s eyes and seek His guidance in all that Tommy does.
After joining the Military at the age of nineteen, I was sent to Fort Dix, New Jersey for Basic training. I have since spent the better part of 30 years serving my country in the military. Some of these positions included being a part of Army Aviation, being an Army Instructor, reaching the rank of 1SG and currently being a Command Sergeant Major. I have completed two combat tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. (2004, 2006-2007). I spent over two years at Camp Shelby Mississippi, where I lead a team that developed and conducted the training program at the 1st Army Training Academy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My civilian career has been with International Paper Inc for 21 years.
